According to a psychologist, the selfie culture is prevalent and it’s rooted in insecurity.

By the passage of time,  people have become increasingly exposed to images of celebrities looking almost unrecognisable thanks to excessive editing.

Here are five celebrities who photoshopped their pictures and it did not go unnoticed:

Mehwish Hayat Gorgeous Mehwish Hayat has beautifully photoshopped her picture. Look closely at a cinched waist, perky chest but how could she possibly have such a small waist? 

Kate WinsletKate is known to be proud of her figure, and rightfully so. However, Winslet’s Vogue cover looks like a literal painting. Her eyes are so absurdly blue there should be a Crayon color named after them. Interestingly, in this picture, her mole is gone.

BeyonceIf Beyonce needs Photoshopping, there’s definitely no hope for the rest of us. Her photo from Joy magazine basically turned Beyonce into a completely different person, shaving off her back and providing quite the tan with contrast changes.

Priyanka ChopraPriyanka Chopra was once accused of photoshopping her picture. Interestingly, it was not her face, breasts, or legs but her armpit.

Remember Kamala Harris’s photoshoot for Vogue that sparked controversy all over the world over her changing skin tone. Being an African American her face in Vogue looked so diverse than her actual face that Vogue had to reshoot all over again.
