KARACHI: Head of FIA Cyber Crime Sindh Imran Riaz has stated that the agency received a complaint of a woman who lives near Gujjar Nala of facing harassment in Sindh capital.
In this regard, a 5-member team, including female staff, of FIA Cyber Crime Sindh, visited the house of the harassment victim on Saturday night. The initial statement of the victim was taken and the complaint was received after doing an initial technical analysis of the mobile phone of the complainant.
The victim along with her male family member will appear in FIA Cyber Crime headquarters for further statements today. She is also set to FIA’s female psychologist who will her out of fear of harassment.
Forensics of the victim’s phone will be done for recovery of deleted messages in order to cover all aspects as visiting team found certain deleted messages in her phone. – After ascertaining all evidence on record after phone forensics, further action will be decided, the FIA team noted.
