FIA arrests prime suspect Saeed Ilyas involved in Libya boat mishap

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has claimed to have arrested a human trafficker who is believed to be the ring leader of the gang involved in the Libya boat mishap case.
Sources said prime suspect Saeed Ilyas has two sons residing in Libya and actively working as human traffickers.
As many as 15 people Pakistanis had lost their lives in two incidents of boat sinking in Italy and Libya last month. The gang had allegedly received up to Rs. 2.5 million per person for sending them to Libya and Italy.
Earlier, FIA had arrested two human traffickers from Gujrat. The suspects were involved in trafficking Pakistanis to foreign destinations.
