FBR finally launches mobile app for filing income tax returns

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has launched a mobile application for facilitating salaried persons in filing income tax returns.
The announcement was made by FBR Chairman Shabbar Zaidi in a tweet, “FBR has updated Tax Asaan app for income tax return filing (salaried persons). This will greatly assist you in filing your returns free from any trouble. Encourage you all to submit your returns in time.”

This will take a few minutes to file your returns.

The FBR chairman Shabbar Zaidi in a tweet also added that it would now take a few minutes the file income tax returns.
The FBR chairman has termed it a step towards a complete digitalisation of processes in the taxation system.
According to him, the return of income for salaried persons, including payment of tax, can be made using smartphones.
