Speaking to a private TV channel last evening, the President said that the ECP didn’t even bother to respond to my letter on the issue of elections, adding that giving the date of elections would not merit any penalty (on the ECP), and only that would enable the masses to decide who was right and who was wrong.
Responding to a question, Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the government has worked hard to get a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), but countries do not survive on debt, adding that “my message is that the country will not default.”
