Hyundai Nishat Motors has launched the 7th generation Elantra in the Pakistani market.
On August 6, 2024, a model was spotted in Balochistan, sparking rumors about a potential hybrid variant. Following this, Hyundai Pakistan released a teaser image showcasing the vehicle’s premium interior, and now full details have been unveiled.
The new Hyundai Elantra Hybrid is priced at PKR 9,699,999, making it competitive in the local hybrid market, particularly given its impressive features and fuel efficiency.
Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Specifications
The Elantra Hybrid is powered by a Smart Stream 1.6L GDI Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder engine, paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. This combination produces a maximum output of 33 kW (43 hp) and 170 Nm of torque, with a total system output of 139 hp and 264 Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with a lithium-ion polymer battery boasting a capacity of 1.32 kWh and a power output of 42 kW.
Design and Dimensions
The Elantra Hybrid showcases Hyundai’s latest parametric design language. Its front features wraparound LED headlights and a striking Parametric Jewel Pattern grille, contributing to a sophisticated appearance. At the rear, a single LED taillight bar extends across the vehicle’s width, enhancing its contemporary profile.
In terms of size, the Elantra Hybrid fits comfortably within the C-segment sedan category, measuring 4,710 mm in length, 1,825 mm in width, and 1,430 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. This configuration offers a spacious yet manageable profile for both city and highway driving.

The interior of the Elantra Hybrid is designed with a driver-centric layout that reflects its sporty and futuristic exterior. The dashboard and center console curve toward the driver, creating an immersive experience, complemented by a sleek LED strip that enhances the car’s modern feel.
The infotainment system features a 10.25-inch TFT LCD info display and an 8-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
