Emaan Fatima, wife of controversial Pakistani vlogger Rajab Butt, broke her silence on Instagram after receiving divorce papers, expressing shock, emotional pain, and questioning what wrongdoing she or her son had committed to deserve such a punishment.
Rajab Butt, who frequently makes headlines due to his vlogging and conflicts with fellow YouTubers, recently announced in a podcast that he had met his son only once or twice and had now decided to end the marriage.
He has now formally sent divorce papers to Emaan Fatima. Upon receiving them, Emaan broke her silence by sharing an Instagram story.
She wrote that while she had expected this, she questioned what crime she or her son had committed to deserve such a punishment.

In her story, she wrote, “I remained silent to save this relationship, but first false allegations were made against me in the podcast, and now this legal notice… I just want to ask, what is my and my son’s fault in all of this?”
She added that although she has much to say, she is remaining silent for now out of respect for the sanctity of Ramadan.
As the news went viral, internet users sharply criticized Rajab Butt. One user wrote, “This divorce was planned even before the child, because Rajab is involved with Zara Malik.”
Another said, “Emaan forgave him when he was caught, but Rajab never intended to save the marriage.”
Someone else commented, “Sending a divorce notice during Ramadan shows the extremism of Rajab and his mother and sister, and they will face consequences as well.”
