The Sindh Home Department has issued rules and regulations regarding the collection of sacrificial animal hides during Eid-ul-Adha.
According to the rules issued by the Home Department, obtaining permission from the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner is mandatory for collecting sacrificial hides. No individual can collect hides without the approval of the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner.
The Home Department has instructed the Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to ensure that only registered organizations or institutions collect hides.
Setting up camps or banners for hide collection is prohibited. Additionally, collecting hides by using vehicles with party flags or making announcements through loudspeakers is also banned.
Those collecting hides must carry the permission letter from the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner with them at all times. Strict action will be taken against violators.
The Home Department has also suspended orders allowing the carrying of weapons from the 10th to the 12th of Zil-Hajj.
