ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to invite foreign observers to monitor the general elections.
According to the details, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has decided to have foreign observers monitor the general elections, for which he has written to the Foreign Secretary and asked for a list of international organizations.
The letter said that the Ministry of External Affairs should inform the Election Commission about the SOPs. The commission sought focal persons from all stakeholders. Officials say that the Chief Election Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the arrangements for the general elections.
It should be noted that the announcement of the official schedule of the general elections has not yet been made by the Election Commission, nor has the date of the general elections been given. The Chief Election Commissioner directed the concerned authorities to complete all the matters as per the schedule.

The People’s Party has threatened to protest over the issue of not giving the date of the general elections, while the Election Commission has not yet reacted to the statements of the PPP leadership.
It should be remembered that earlier PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we have the solution to public problems, while we will not sit with China until the election date is given.
Two days ago, former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that when someone talks about constituencies, someone says that the weather is cold. “People see who is running away from the election and boycott those who are running,” he said.
