On World Teachers’ Day, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the initiative on social media, expressing gratitude for teachers’ dedication to shaping young minds.
Eligibility Criteria
Educators from early childhood centers, schools, and higher education institutions may qualify for the Golden Visa if they meet criteria such as:
- Demonstrating exceptional academic achievements and innovative contributions to education.
- Proven success in enhancing the quality of education within their institutions.
- Positive impact and recognition from the broader educational community.
- Documented improvements in student outcomes, including academic progress and recognized qualifications.

- Full-time faculty and senior administrative leaders in higher education institutions
Specific Criteria for Teachers and Faculty
Teachers in schools and nurseries, along with higher education faculty, may qualify based on additional criteria, such as:
Advanced degrees (for higher education only) like a PhD, professional doctorate, master’s degree, or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, professional fellowships).
Application Process
Schools, early childhood centers, and higher education institutions may nominate eligible staff who meet these criteria.
