WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has announced a “peace deal” between Israel and Bahrain, making the latter the second Arab country to settle with its former foe in the last few weeks.
Bahrain has become the latest Arab country to agree to normalize ties with Israel as part of a broader diplomatic push by President Donald Trump and his administration to fully integrate the Jewish state into the Middle East.

On a social media website, Twitter Trump said, “Another HISTORIC breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain agree to a Peace Deal – the second Arab country to make peace with Israel in 30 days!”
