NAWABSHAH: The district authorities claimed to have recovered more than 2,000 sugar bags in Nawabshah district Sindh on Saturday.
Assistant Commissioner Tariq Solangi said the officials conducted a targeted raid at a godown in Nawabshah and recovered 2,000 sugar bags.
He said the raid over a godown was carried out in Muhammad Town of Nawabshah and the godown was sealed after recovery of 2,000 sugar bags, he added.
On Friday, the officials carried out a raid at a godown of a hi-tech mill in Kotri and sized over 100,000 sugar sacks.
The factory owner Haseeb Shaikh and authorities find clues of his alleged connections with the influential persons in the government.
It is worth to mention here operations against sugar hoarders across the country are continue on instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
