Actor Muneeb Butt, who will be playing a trans-Assistant Commissioner in an upcoming drama ‘Sar-e-Rah’, has addressed the difficulties he had to face in fetching the role.
Muneeb Butt appeared for the promotion of his upcoming drama in a talk show, where he talked about difficulties he had to face in fetching the character. “Initially I wasn’t offered this character but another one,” he said.
According to Butt, he was offered another character. “I did not like the role which I was offered other role, however, I kept on reading the script and found this character named Sarang inquisitive.

He added, “I said to Ahmad Bhatti (director) I want to this role but I was refused, he said we have someone else onboard for this character. Then, I asked for a script, and they sent it to me, I sent an audition on my own, they didn’t want it but I sent it and prepared everything, I made a video, edited it, and added the music too, I sent it to Abdullah Seja at 5:am, in the morning, I was cast for the role.”
He further said that he was over-excited about the drama and prepared a lot for his role in the drama. Muneeb said that he ended all shoots before this role because he was over-excited about this. “I knew that when I will be doing this character, I won’t be doing anything else, I also knew if I would be doing something else then this character will suffer, I was fully focused on it”.
He then said that he had a clean shave for the character, he further said that he waxed his arms and got his eyebrows done so that he could do justice to his character.
