A viral social media claim suggests that Dubai has banned issuing visas to single Pakistani men under the age of 42; however, this claim is false.
The rumors, which caused widespread concern among potential travelers and the Pakistani community, were debunked after thorough investigation.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) recently sparked controversy by tweeting, “Dubai stops issuing visas to single Pakistani men under the age of 42 – no formal announcement but have verified this from several reliable sources in the local travel industry.”
The tweet quickly went viral, leading to speculation about the alleged visa restrictions. However, authoritative sources have confirmed that there is no truth to these claims. Dubai has neither made an official announcement nor implemented any ban on issuing visit or work visas to Pakistani nationals, including single men under the age of 42.
This is not the first time such fake news has surfaced online. Previous reports of similar nature stated that the UAE had ceased granting visitation permits to citizens of a number of Pakistani cities. Even without adequate confirmation or an official announcement from the authorities, some local travel agents verified these stories.
