Did ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ fail to impress Netflix users? Netflix recently wrapped up the show’s season 1.
There are reports that the comedy show is being cancelled for its falling TRP.
Kapil Sharma returned with his show on Netflix titled ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. Despite being a super huge budgeted show, it suddenly ended last week as Archana Puran Singh announced the wrap of the shooting of the first season which shocked many viewers.
The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered on Netflix on March 30 but failed to impress the viewers, with its numbers dwindling with every episode.
However, the numbers kept reducing, and The Great Indian Kapil Show slowly started to drop out from Netflix’s Top 10 list. The Great Indian Kapil show has total 8 episodes and already 6 are streaming on the giant streamer.
Will there be a season 2?
While there is no official confirmation on the second season of Great Indian Kapil Show, comedian Kiku Sharda revealed that the shooting has stopped “temporarily” and the show will return for another season.
How much the actors are getting paid for the comedy show?
According to a report by Zee Hindustan and quoted by DNA India, the comedian charged over five crore per episode which means Rs 26 crore for five episodes.
Moreover, Sunil Grover charged Rs 25 lacs per episode. Archana Puran Singh is getting Rs 10 lacs per episode.
