Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the much awaited sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar, is now out and already creating a buzz among fans.
Following the first film’s ₹1300 crore success, Dhurandhar 2 is projected for a massive opening, with early estimates suggesting a potential first-day collection of around ₹100 crore.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the story follows Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Ranveer Singh), an Indian spy operating undercover as Hamza Ali Mazari in Pakistan.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge builds on its predecessor with a darker, more personal story centered on Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Set in 2002, the film follows his transformation from a young army aspirant into the ruthless Hamza Ali Mazari after a devastating family tragedy.

It is worth mentioning that the movie loosely draws inspiration from multiple real-life geopolitical events and conflicts in South Asia, like Operation Lyari, 2014 Indian general election, 2016 Indian banknote demonetization and various other events.

OTT Release
The OTT streaming rights were reportedly acquired for ₹150 crore by JioHotstar, replacing Netflix which has the rights for the previous part.
