Pakistan’s wedding season is in full swing, and a recent event near Mandi Bahauddin has captured everyone’s attention. Family members of the groom stunned attendees by showering millions of rupees from a small jet.
According to a report by Pak Observer on Saturday, the lavish celebration took place in Chak 45, a village on the outskirts of Mandi Bahauddin. Guests and villagers were amazed as local currency notes rained down from the sky, creating a frenzy.
An Instagram post by All About Pakistan shows that the groom’s overseas Pakistani friends orchestrated the spectacle, dropping flower petals and cash from an airplane.
Videos of the unique event quickly went viral on social media, showing guests scrambling to catch fluttering notes. Many climbed rooftops or rushed into the streets to collect the scattered money.
In addition to the cash, congratulatory pamphlets were also released from the plane, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The extraordinary display left the villagers awestruck and sparked lively discussions online. While such lavish gestures are rare, similar stunts involving mobile phones and other gifts have been seen in previous weddings to make the celebrations unforgettable.
