ISLAMABAD: The court has rejected the request of the Election Commission for an early hearing in the Toshakhana criminal proceedings case.
According to details, the case was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad. Lawyer Khawaja Haris asked what is the justification for an early hearing. Lawyer Faisal Chaudhry said that the date of April 29 was taken by the will of the Election Commission. After 2 days, the Election Commission is asking for an early hearing.

Lawyer Khawaja Haris said that Imran Khan’s request for security is still pending. There is no escape from the case. The Election Commission’s request for an early hearing has no merit. The court is requested to dismiss the petition.
Later, the court reserved the decision on the request of the Election Commission to hear the case early, which was heard today. Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal dismissed the application for early hearing of the case.
