ATTOCK: The court has extended the judicial remand of Chairman PTI Imran Khan till October 10.
According to the details, the judicial remand of the former prime minister was extended by two weeks by the special court established under the Official Secrets Act.
The case was heard by Honorable Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain in Attock Jail. The lawyers of Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan, Umair Niazi, and Salman Safdar appeared in the jail.
The court extended the remand by directing the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to submit a challan against Imran Khan soon.
Earlier on Monday, the Islamabad High Court issued an order to transfer Imran Khan from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, but the Attock Jail authorities refused to comply with the order of the High Court and said, ” We have not received the order.”
The Federal Ministry of Law issued the NOC for the hearing of the cipher case. After the judicial remand of Imran Khan was completed today, the court approved the extension of the remand for 14 days.
