ISLAMABAD: The condition of Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Vice chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has worsened in jail, after which the court allowed him to be shifted to hospital.
Official Secret Act Court Islamabad Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain on the request of the jail administration allowed the transfer of the PTI vice chairman and former foreign minister, imprisoned in the cipher case, to the hospital after his condition worsened in Adiala Jail.
The jail administration had requested the court that Shah Mehmood Qureshi be tested, and on the advice of the jail doctor, he should be allowed to be transferred to PIMs.
It should be noted that a special court has indicted Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case.
