SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah has said that the country was going through a critical situation.
Speaking to the media in Sukkur, the PPP leader said, “May Allah have mercy on us and keep everyone safe from the virus.” The economic situation of the country was bad but the opposition was playing its role in these situations, he added.
While talking about the incumbent government, Khursheed Shah said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should not have gotten up during the conference but he did which was not a good move.
Earlier this week, co-accused of Shah was granted bail in the Rs 1.4 billion corruption reference. Pleading Shah’s case, Mallano said that his client runs a bonafide business and presented evidence that his client was being dragged into the NAB reference as part of political vendetta. The court later granted bail to Raheem Bakhsh Awan and adjourned the hearing up till 1st April.
