KARACHI: The Sindh government announced that all educational institutions in the province will remain closed till 30 May 2020.
The decision was taken after an important meeting was held by the Sindh cabinet. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah presided over the meeting which was held to decide when schools will be opened.
Advisor to Chief Minister, Murtaza Wahab shared the news on social media “That the Government of Sindh has decided preponed Summer vacations in Sindh as the Schools will reopen on 1st June 2020.” tweeted Murtaza Wahab.

Earlier, the provincial government had instructed closure of schools, colleges and universities as well as coaching centers across the Sindh province till 13 March.
The decision had been taken to ensure to stop the spread of the coronavirus in the province.
Pakistan reported its 21st case of the coronavirus when a resident of Gilgit Baltistan was also diagnosed with the symptom of coronavirus.
Sindh province had recorded Coronavirus cases at the largest scale in Pakistan from where 15 coronavirus cases emerged. Fourteen of these cases emerged in the metropolis.
