ISLAMABAD: The death toll from coronavirus continues in Pakistan, with 357 people succumbing to death and seven more killed.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center on Saturday morning, seven deaths and 357 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours.
After seven new deaths, the total number of deaths has increased to 28,870 while the number of people has increased to 1,290,848 after adding 357 new cases.
During the last 24 hours, a total of 47,903 tests were conducted across Pakistan while the percentage of positive cases was 0.74 percent. The number of intensive care patients is 666.
At least 239 patients have recovered from this virus while the total number of recoveries is 1252396 and the total number of active cases in the country was recorded as 9582.
So far 478942 people in Sindh, 444119 in Punjab, 180938 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 108240 in Islamabad, 33548 in Balochistan, 34633 in Azad Kashmir, and 10428 in Gilgit-Baltistan have been confirmed to have coronavirus.
Besides, 13057 people have lost their lives in Punjab, 7649 in Sindh, 5907 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 963 in Islamabad, 745 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
