KARACHI: The Supreme Court Karachi Registry has remarked during the hearing of the contempt of court case related to giving plots to the Gujjar Nala and Orangi Town Nala victims that if the Sindh government does not give a satisfactory answer, then they will call the Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
According to details, Gujjar Nala and Orangi Town Nala Contempt of Court case was heard in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry. Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar asked the lawyer of the Sindh government how much have you implemented the court order.
The Sindh government lawyer informed the Supreme Court that work is being done to implement the court order. Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar asked, “Why the full implementation has not been done so far? You had said earlier that you would give a plot of 80 yards and also provide money.”
During the hearing of the contempt of court case, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar remarked, “Which is such a big problem?”
Sindh government’s lawyer said that the Pakistan Engineering Council has not yet submitted the report. The court summoned the Advocate General Sindh and the Chief Secretary at 11 o’clock and remarked that if they did not give a satisfactory answer, they would call the Chief Minister immediately.
