ISLAMABAD: The Special Assitant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Federal Cabinet has approved the construction of Dasu Dam.

Sources said that the construction of the dam to start from next month (November).

At a media briefing, the special assistant assured that the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has already given the green signal on this matter and the construction is about to begin soon.

Earlier on Tuesday, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan also informed media that premier Imran Khan to launch Ehsaas Under Graduate Programme as well. This project will benefit the education sector in the country.
