WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has infected 35,399,250 people worldwide and killed 1,041,824 people.
The number of recovered people from coronavirus has increased to 26,619,892 and there are 7,732,136 active cases.
The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 214,611 people dying and 7,636,912 people diagnosed with the coronavirus. India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 1,622,000 people diagnosed with the coronavirus and 1,2,714 deaths.
Brazil is the third most affected country in the world, with 4,915,289 people affected and 146,375 deaths. In Russia, more than 1.215 million people have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 21,358.
Colombia is the fifth most affected country by the coronavirus, with 26,712 deaths and more than 855,000 reported cases. In Peru, more than 828,000 people have been affected, while 32,742 people have lost their lives. More than 810,000 people have been affected in Spain and 32,086 deaths have been reported.
