Known for his comic roles in Pakistani dramas, Aadi Adeal Amjad, who recently mocked actress Sajal Aly’s statement over working with Hollywood, has just come forward defending his statement.
Things were quite interesting as soon as the news of actor Humayun Saeed being cast as Dr. Hasnat Khan in Netflix’s The Crown season 5 become viral. Many social media users started congratulating him as he would become the first Pakistani to be cast in a Netflix original.
Aadi Adeal Amjad too came forward to congratulate Saeed in a hilarious way which later turned against him after people thought his statement was an indirect jab on Sajal Aly’s refusal to work in Hollywood.
To clear things up, Aadi Adeal Amjad once again took to the Instagram story and posted, “It’s funny how he joked with Saeed and everyone lost their shit bringing in Sajal into the context without any reason. The joke was I got offered to play Diana in The Crown.”
Earlier, Aadi had taken a sarcastic jibe at Sajal on his Instagram by connecting her statement to Humayun Saeed’s selection in the Netflix series ‘The Crown’.
