KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has planned on converting empty labour colony apartments into isolation centres across the province due to coronavirus.
The chief minister during a meeting in Karachi directed authorities for the conversion. These isolation centres will be built in Hyderabad, Kotri, Nooriabad and other cities of Sindh.
He also directed to set up isolation centres like the Sukkur model in other cities of Sindh as well.
Chief Minister Sindh ordered to convert one block of Sukkur labour colony into a temporary hospital for coronavirus patients.
Purchase all equipment for the hospital temporarily made for the coronavirus hospital at Sukkur isolation centers,” he directed authorities.
During the meeting, he also directed concerned authorities to provide all facilities to pilgrims at Sukkur labour colony isolation center.
Pakistan has recorded its biggest single-day spike in coronavirus infections, taking the tally to 184. Moreover, in this regard, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Mohammad Khan has emphasized all religious figures around the world, including Pakistan to seek guidance from Islamic faith to have solutions to the issue of how to battle this pandemic effectively.
