LAHORE: A clock showing Srinagar time has been installed at various airports including Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore to express solidarity with Kashmiris on ‘Youm-e-Istehsal’.
The government has released a new political map showing Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan. The Kashmir Highway in Islamabad has also been renamed as Srinagar Highway.
Lahore airport manager told media the flag of Kashmir along with the national flag has been installed at the airport to express unity with the oppressed Kashmiris.
He said banners inscribed with slogans in support of Kashmiris have been put at airport lounges and parking areas, while the airport will also air a film highlighting Indian brutalities on innocent Kashmiris.
A clock showing Srinagar time has also been installed at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar, along with flags of Kashmir and Pakistan to express solidarity along with on the atrocities in Kashmir.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had hoisted Kashmir’s flag along with the national flag at all the airports of the country.
