Star-studded drama ‘Sang-E-Mah’ is set to screen its first episode in cinemas on 7th January.
While announcing that the drama will hit the cinemas this Friday, the owners announced it on their official page and released a teaser as well with a caption that includes details about pre-booking of the drama.
Written by Mustafa Afridi and directed by Saife Hassan, the includes Nauman Ijaz, Kubra Khan, Atif Aslam, Zaviyar Nauman, Hasan Nauman, Samiya Mumtaz, Omair Rana, Hania Aamir, and Sania Saeed.
According to the director, the drama features the story of a Pashtoon family. It is basically part of a trilogy series of ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’, which aired in 2016. The drama’s first season titled ‘Sang e Mar Mar’ became critically popular back in 2016. The third drama will be Sang-e- Siyah.

Sang-e-Mar Mar is a 2016 drama, revolves around a Pashtun family of Gulistan Khan and his family. Gulistan follows strict Pashtun traditions, such as avoiding western clothing, which is considered a threat to Pashtun traditional values. Gulistan’s youngest son Aurang was sent to Peshawar University and, unlike his elder siblings, possesses urban and literal views. His only emotional attachment is to his mother, who is the reason he often visits his village ‘Garhi Baran.’
