Privately held Christmas gatherings in several Saudi Arabian cities have offered moments of celebration while also reflecting growing cultural exchange and mutual respect.
In Riyadh and other cities, expatriate Christians and migrant residents marked Christmas with their families, friends and neighbours.
The gatherings focused on family interaction, sharing happiness and respecting each other’s cultural traditions.
The events featured decorations, soft lighting and small Christmas-style markets. Music, children’s activities and special food arrangements added to the festive atmosphere.
Saudi citizens also attended some of these gatherings, contributing to cultural interaction and helping people from different countries feel more included in local society.
Hosts said the events were organised to create a welcoming and inclusive environment centred on children and family celebrations, where people from all nationalities and cultures were welcomed.
International schools and educational institutions also marked Christmas with decorations, music and student performances.
