BEIJING: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that China supported Pakistan’s position on the dispute of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK)).
Speaking in Beijing about the prime minister’s meetings with the Chinese leadership that Chinese President Xi Jinping paying a short informal visit to India was both countries’ (Pakistan and China) mutual desire to take each other into confidence regarding the visit.
Speaking in Beijing about PM Imran Khan’s meetings with the Chinese leadership, the foreign minister said, “China’s position on Kashmir is clear and it supports Pakistan’s historic position on the festering dispute.”
The foreign minister said that the Chinese leadership has been taken into confidence on all issues of note, adding that the leadership of the two countries hold frequent exchanges and discussions on regional and international issues.
