BEIJING: China has reacted on news reports of border clash with India at the Arunachal border, with Foreign Office spokesperson saying that the situation now is ‘generally stable’.
The reaction came after claims by Indian media that several Chinese soldiers were injured during a face-off in Yangtse area of the Tawang sector of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh.

Foreign Office spokesperson Wang Wenbin said the two sides had always maintained smooth communication on border-related issues through diplomatic and military channels, and expressed hope that India and China would meet each other halfway, earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strictly abide by the spirit of the relevant agreements signed by the two sides, and jointly maintain peace and tranquility in the China-India border areas.
Commenting on the attack on Chinese hotel in Kabul the other day, spokesperson Wang Wenbin said 5 Chinese nationals were injured In yesterday’s attack.
