ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has assured that the Chinese officials were taking sufficient measures to curb the coronavirus disease.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi in his statement said that the government of Pakistan was standing with China in this difficult hour.
“China will undoubtedly overcome this challenge”, the foreign minister stressed.
The foreign minister said that the top leadership of China was monitoring the efforts being made to check the disease.
The foreign minister appreciated Beijing for helping Pakistani citizens residing in China extending every possible support to them.
The recent number of confirmed deaths from the coronavirus disease in China has risen by 38 to 170.
The symptoms of most coronaviruses are similar to any other upper-respiratory infection, including runny nose, coughing, sore throat, and sometimes a fever. In most cases, a person is unaware of whether he has a coronavirus or a different cold-causing virus.
