BEIJING: Tensions between China and India have escalated further, with both countries expelling each other’s journalists from their respective territories.

It is being told that India had rejected the request to extend the visa period of the last two Chinese journalists, after which China also rejected the representation papers of Indian journalists. The Chinese journalists were from the state-run Xinhua News Agency and China Central Television.
It should be noted that since the border clash in June 2020, relations between the two countries have been continuously strained.
