Police have registered a first information report (FIR) against suspect Adil Sajid. The case includes Section 328-A related to violence or abuse against children.

A 10-year-old domestic worker has given a video statement after allegedly being tortured by his employer, revealing details of the violence he says he suffered. Police have registered a case against the accused following the emergence of footage showing the child being assaulted.

In his video statement, the young victim, identified as Ali Jabbar, said that he had been beaten before, which caused swelling on his arm, though the swelling has now reduced.

The child said he was also assaulted on his leg and the injury marks are still visible. He alleged that the violence was carried out by Adil Sajid. According to the child, he was first scolded for not cleaning the roof one day, and was later beaten after he cleaned the roof without water.

On the CPO’s orders, Sadiqabad Police took immediate action, recovered the 10-year-old child, and arrested the suspect before shifting him to the police station.
