Celebrities to join PM’s gathering in Muzaffarabad

KARACHI: Pakistani celebrities will join prime minister Imran Khan’s gathering in Muzaffarabad on Friday to raise voice for Kashmiris.
Celebrities including Humayun Saeed and Maya Ali have urged people to participate in the public gathering. In his tweet, Actor Humayun Saeed said, “Let us show the world that we stand united with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters at this most difficult time.”

Actress Maya Ali also tweeted, “Let’s stand by our Prime minister this Friday and show our support for our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. I will also be in Muzzafarabad to attend the Prime Minister’s jalsa.”

Tweets of actors came a few hours after the prime minister’s announcement that he would hold a big gathering in the Muzaffarabad on Friday for the people of Kashmir.
The day earlier, the prime minister tweeted, “I am going to do a big jalsa in Muzzafarabad on Friday 13 Sept, to send a message to the world about the continuing siege of IOJK by Indian Occupation forces; & to show the Kashmiris that Pakistan stands resolutely with them.”
