RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF), engaged in a pivotal dialogue with notables and political leaders of Balochistan on Thursday, reaffirming the unbreakable bond between the province and Pakistan.

During the interaction, the COAS & CDF emphasized that “the present and future of Balochistan and Pakistan are one and forever,” underscoring the province’s integral role in the nation’s fabric. He lauded Balochistan’s people as “talented, resilient, patriotic, and proud,” highlighting their potential as the cornerstone of Pakistan’s progress.

Economic Potential and Youth Empowerment

The army chief stressed that clear national narratives, enduring peace, and stability are critical to unlocking Balochistan’s economic potential. He noted that the province’s abundant human and natural resources could attract investment and translate into tangible prosperity for its people.

Addressing the youth, Field Marshal Munir asserted that Balochistan’s younger generation represents the most vibrant and promising segment of society. He emphasized that empowering youth and providing opportunities for their contribution to national progress remains central to sustainable development.

Warning Against Foreign-Sponsored Threats

According to ISPR, the COAS & CDF in his stern address identified “Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan” as foreign-sponsored proxies employed by hostile elements to destabilize Balochistan, obstruct its development, and create divisions between the state and its people.

He declared that these inimical designs would be defeated through collective national resolve and a decisive response by the state.

The army chief called for a unified front to counter hostile propaganda, expose false narratives, and project the true potential and aspirations of Balochistan.

Appreciation for Local Leaders

Field Marshal Munir commended the role of Balochistan’s notables and society leaders in promoting peace, strengthening social cohesion, and advancing constructive national discourse. He reiterated that “the destiny of Balochistan rests only in the hands of its people.”

Unwavering Commitment to Peace and Stability

The notables and political leaders of Balochistan reaffirmed their commitment to peace, development, and prosperity for both the province and Pakistan. They pledged to stand shoulder to shoulder with the state and armed forces against all foreign-sponsored threats to stability.

In a resolute statement, the participants vowed to contribute toward people-centric development, ensuring a peaceful, stable, and prosperous Balochistan where “only truth shall prevail” and hostile narratives are buried in their own propaganda.

A Call for Collective Action

The interaction concluded with a shared resolve to safeguard Balochistan’s future through unity, development, and a steadfast rejection of external interference. The COAS & CDF’s visit underscores the military’s commitment to supporting Balochistan’s progress and protecting its sovereignty against all odds.
