CDA Hajj draw 2027 to select 70 employees today

ISLAMABAD: The CDA Hajj draw 2027 is being held today to select 70 employees for the upcoming pilgrimage under a special scheme for lower-grade and non-gazetted staff.

The draw is taking place at the CDA headquarters conference room. Officials will select 63 male and seven female employees for Hajj 2027.

CDA Hajj draw covers BPS-1 to 17 staff

Employees from BPS-1 to BPS-16, along with non-gazetted employees in BPS-17, are eligible for the scheme. CDA employees aged above 40 years have been included in the draw.

The selected female employees will perform Hajj with their mahrams, in accordance with Islamic requirements.

The initiative comes as preparations for Hajj 2027 gather pace across Pakistan. The Ministry of Religious Affairs recently launched a digital Hajj Management System, allowing registered pilgrims to submit applications, complete document verification and pay dues through online channels.

The Hajj draw for CDA employees will determine the beneficiaries through a random selection process since t The scheme is aimed at providing eligible lower-grade staff an opportunity to perform the pilgrimage.

Meanwhile, it may be pertinent to mention here that the federal government’s Hajj scheme has also introduced a digital application and payment system through the Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal. The system allows applicants to make payments through digital channels, reducing the need for bank visits and paperwork.

The CDA employees Hajj 2027 initiative is expected to provide selected staff members with an opportunity to perform the pilgrimage under the authority’s employee welfare arrangements.

Further details about the selected employees and the next steps are expected after completion of the draw.
