ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan could help India in combating air pollution.
Fawad Chaudhry offered India help in controlling air pollution by using a scientific method.
The federal minister posted on Twitter that crop burning in Jalandhar was playing havoc with the environment on both sides of the Punjab border.

In a tweet, he said, “Crop burning in Jallender is playing havoc with the environment on both sides of Punjab border.”
He further said, “We can help Indian Punjab Govt to use a machine solution to turn crop waste into a burning billet, that can be used as fuel when needed #Sciencehelps.”
The toxic smog caused by the Indian side has entered temporarily in Lahore which has started affecting.

Earlier on Wednesday, the smog had severely hit Lahore, with Air Quality Index reaching 455, while the threshold for the hazardous level of air quality was 300.
Smog is a kind of air pollution that is caused by a mixture of smoke and sulfur dioxide.
Smog can cause or aggravate health problems such as asthma, eye irritation and reduced resistance to colds and lung infections.
