Campaign against COAS is a corrupt act, says Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the campaign against Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir is a corrupt act that must be answered by all.

According to the details, the Defense minister said in a statement that the campaign against the army chief is a mental innovation of Chairman PTI Imran Khan. “Everyone should answer it together. All campaign routes lead to Imran Khan,” he said.

He added that these days are the last days of the PTI chairman politically. However, there has been a strong reaction from Tehreek-e-Insaf to the defense minister’s statement.

The spokesperson of PTI said that the constitution, law, and democratic traditions should not be given funeral lectures. “The group in power is attacking the ideology of Pakistan and the cultural heritage of the country,” said the spokesperson.

The party spokesperson criticized the current government and said that it destroys the institutions of the country to protect its theft.

It should be noted that earlier Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had also condemned the social media campaign against Army Chief General Asim Munir, to which there was a mixed reaction from social media users.
