CAA suspends flights between Pakistan, China due to cornavirus
KARACHI: On Thursday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) temporarily suspended all direct flight between China and Pakistan in worry of deadly coronavirus
  after a competent authority has approved, the civil aviation authority (CAA) issued a notification in which stated that all the direct flight services between two countries will remain canceled until 2nd February 2020.

The CAA’s notification stated, “Please be informed that as per a decision by the Competent Authority at the appropriate level, all direct flight operations between Pakistan and China are to stalled on an immediate basis, initially till February 2, subject to subsequent review.” 
China Airline reported on Wednesday that its flight operations between Beijing and Karachi were partly suspended in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
Earlier on Thursday, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that China’s coronavirus epidemic now triggers an international public health emergency.

The decision was announced by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the WHO, after a conference of its emergency committee, an independent panel of experts, in the final stages of increasing evidence of the virus spreading to other 18 countries.
The WHO committee, headed by France’s Didier Houssin, includeD 16 other experts in the health field decided to declare the outbreak as a global emergency.
