ISLAMABAD: Zanish Khan, a resident of Islamabad, has accused prominent businessman Mian Tariq Javed of corruption in the name of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
Talking to MM News, Zanish Khan has informed that Mian Tariq Javed, residing in Denmark, who was also a former official of PTI, had formed an organization there called Pakistani Overseas Community.
He opened a bank account in the name of Shaukat Khanum in 2014 with the connivance of his brother Mian Abid and continued to raise funds for four years.
Instead of transferring the funds to Shaukat Khanum Hospital’s account, he used the funds to buy his own property and vehicles, which led to his expulsion from the party after a complaint was lodged.
Zanish Khan further said that petitions were filed against him at various forums, however, no actions has been taken yet due to his influence. “Mian Javed, along with his accomplices, started a campaign against me on social media and is threatening my family to withdraw all the cases,” she added.
“In this regard, I have filed an application with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to register a case against Mian Tariq Javed, however, the case has not been registered yet,” she asserted.
She also said, “A group of almost 30 to 35 lawyers of Mian Tariq Javed, in order to pressurize me, publicly thrashed me and tore my clothes,” adding that the district police did not tired to stop them despite being on the spot.
Zanish Khan informed that the Lahore High Court has issued an order against Mian Tariq Javed, after her request to the Governor Punjab. She has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to take notice of the case and bring the accused to justice.
