KARACHI: Bulls extended their control on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday, with the benchmark index accumulating gains all day long gains amid surge in market volumes.
The benchmark KSE-100 remained in the green zone throughout the session, touching its intraday high at 45,967.29 after accumulating 761.29 points. It settled higher by 541.98 points at 45,887.63.
Among other indices, the KMI-30 Index accumulated 561.47 points to end at 74,426.91, while the KSE All Share Index added 308.57 points, closing at 31,359.57.
A total of 356,967,665 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 242,263,117 shares the previous day.
