Quentin Tarantino may have found the leading man for his 10th and allegedly final film and he is none other than Brad Pitt who has reportedly joined the cast of ‘The Movie Critic’.
As per Deadline, Brad Pitt has joined the cast of ‘The Movie Critic’, Tarantino’s new film set in 1970s Los Angeles that is expected to shoot later this year.
While the report did not specify which role Pitt is playing, it could indicate that Pitt is on board to star as the eponymous critic. The casting would mark a reunion between Tarantino and one of his favorite collaborators.
Pitt previously starred in Tarantino’s ‘Inglorious Basterds’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, the latter of which won him an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
While few official details are known about the project, Tarantino has teased that ‘The Movie Critic’ will center around a film critic who reviews movies for a pornographic magazine.
Pitt won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as Cliff Booth in the latter film. According to reports in Deadline, the new film could be set for release in 2025.
