Noted Pakistani designer Maria B, who has been voicing against Israel, said that boycott for life has become her way of lighting for Palestine.
In a recent social media post, She won’t: “Boycott for life is my way of lighting for Palestine. Boycott is not a trend, it’s my lifestyle now… Join the revolution.” She urged her fans to support Pakistani companies, by buying ‘Local’, and help the country’s economy, and at the same time, helping children in Palestine.
The designer has been urging people to boycott Israeli products in protest against the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Earlier in November, the designer took to social media and expressed her deep sorrow over the ongoing violence in Palestine, “In the past 45 days, all the limits of inhumanity have been crossed,” she said. “We are helpless. Therefore, I have promised myself to boycott Israeli products.”
In a video message, Maria B was seen burning packages of Israeli products. “My boycott is not for a few days but is for life. I will never use any product from Israeli brands again in my life.”
The designer also highlighted Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine for the past 75 years, calling for an end to the conflict and the establishment of a Palestinian state.
