A heartbreaking incident occurred on Saturday in the Sairi neighborhood of Hyderabad when a 10-year-old child was shot and killed by a landlord because goats were grazing on his grounds. Local residents have been deeply upset by the event, leading to widespread protests.
The tragedy unfolded when the enraged landlord, seeing the boy tending to goats in his fields, opened fire, killing the child instantly. The landlord then fled the scene.
Grieving family members along with neighbors carried the child’s body in a protest along Tando Muhammad Khan Road, demanding the swift capture of the perpetrator.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad has stated that police teams have been formed to apprehend the landlord responsible for the shooting, and a search operation is underway to locate the suspect.
