MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Asif Basra has committed suicide in Dharamshala near a cafe on Jogibada Road.
The actor was reportedly found hanging at the complex. Asif Basra was found dead in a private complex in Dharamshala. A forensic team is at the spot and further investigation is underway.
Reacting to the shocking news, filmmaker Hansal Mehta tweeted: “Can’t be true… This is just very, very sad.”

Manoj Bajpayee also expressed shock revealing that he has worked with Asif just before lockdown, “What? This is too shocking!! Shot with him just before Lockdown!!! Oh My God!!!”
Asif Basra starred in films like Black Friday, Parzania, Outsourced, Jab We Met, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Kai Po Che, Krrish 3, Ek Villain, Kaalakaandi, and Hichki.
Lastly, he appeared in the second season of Disney+ Hotstar series Hostages. Apart from B-Town films, he was also seen in the Hollywood film Outsource.
