LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has released a tentative date sheet for the Punjab Matric Exams in 2024. According to the latest announcement, the Matric Exams in Lahore and various parts of Punjab are scheduled to begin on March 1, 2024.
The final decision regarding the exam date was made during a Punjab Boards Committee of Chairman (PBCC) meeting at BISE Rawalpindi. All members unanimously approved the same date sheet for implementation across all educational boards in the region.
As outlined in the announcement, the Matric board exams will kick off on March 1, starting with the Civic/History of Pakistan paper, followed by Punjabi, English compulsory, and Arabic.
The schedule indicates that General Science and Chemistry papers will be conducted on March 6, and Elements of Home Economics on March 7. The concluding paper for Class 10 is slated for March 18, 2024.
Additionally, class 9 board exams are set to commence on March 19, with the examination period concluding on April 4.
For the year 2024, morning session papers are scheduled to commence at 8:30 am, while the evening session exams will begin at 1:30 pm.
