KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced to launch an anti-government campaign against inflation in March.
Talking to media at the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of the Karachi Urban Forest project in Lyari, Bilawal Bhutto slammed the economic policies of the PTI government and said that the PTI government should re-negotiate the ‘PTIMF’ budget with the global body.
He said that the government was trying to rob the people of their economic rights, adding that the government was also stealing the Benazir Bhutto Support Programme from poor people.
Commenting on the project, Bilawal Bhutto assured that the Sindh government would launch similar projects in other areas of the city plagued by pollution.
Bilawal Bhutto said that besides the conspiracies against the PPP government, they were focused on uplifting the standard of living of the poor people.
He said, “Sindh government performance is better than any other provincial government.”
